so things have been a lot busier lately than i had expected. i spent the first two days of the week working 12 hour days on a huge project, only to have it put off for another week. at the end of tuesday i had already worked 23.5 hours for the week. i ended up taking wednesday off because i made myself so sick with all the stress.

plus on top of work i’ve had school work to get done. i’m doing fine in my java class … it’s my discrete math class that i haven’t even really started. the goal for this weekend is to catch up and get a schedule going for when i need to sit down and do my homework.

in more exciting news … now that i’m a student again i can qualify for education pricing on adobe products. of course the first opportunity i had, i purchased adobe cs3 web premium. any free time i previously had will now be spend messing around in photoshop, flash, and dreamweaver. so exciting!

that’s all for now. there’s developing news on the horizon, but it will likely take a couple of weeks before i can make an announcement i suppose. until later.

i was standing on the platform waiting for the train after work today and i came to this sudden realization that i hadn’t made a decent entry in ages. so much has been going on lately that it’s just insane.

work is good. incredibly busy, but i suppose at least i’m working on some exciting things. a few weeks ago i was in nyc checking some stuff out for our summer promotion. i was only there 24 hours but it was a trip nonetheless. i’m actually leaving for austin in a few hours for a few days. it’s acl weekend but logistics just didn’t work out for me to stay the whole weekend. it’s blane’s birthday tomorrow/today and at least i’ll be able to get back on friday to make up for missing tomorrow evening’s dinner.

one of the most exciting things just recently started … i started graduate school this week! i spent the last couple of months being incredibly nervous about it but now that it has started i’m feeling great about it. i’m working on my master’s in computer science and i’m thrilled. anything i already know has been self-taught so it’s a great opportunity to fill in all the missing pieces and put it to use. i’m already planning my first program that i can implement to help with something at work that i’ve been studying.

i’d love to stay and continue writing but i must get going and get myself packed for my journey to texas in the morning.

I don’t really know why we need 3 different kinds of coca-cola, but it sure is handy.
